A Prayer For The Ship
Douglas Reeman
SUMMARY:
The men of the British Motor Torpedo Boat squadrons tirelessly patrol the North Sea against Nazi destroyers, their lives dependent on speed and hair-trigger reactions. Sub-Lieutenant Clive Royce is newly assigned to MTB 1991, joining a crew already seasoned by death and fear. Now it is up to him to take the place of their dead first lieutenant and earn the respect of his captain and crewmates. As the massive firepower of Nazi Germany batters the fragile MTBs, Royce struggles for the courage and resourcefulness to face down a superior enemy and stay alive.
